Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded to view its EXIF data?
No. Your photo is read in your browser and is never uploaded.
Does removing EXIF reduce image quality?
For JPEG, no. The metadata is removed without changing the image itself, so quality is untouched.
What about the GPS map preview?
The map is optional. Only the coordinates are used to show the location; your photo itself stays on your device.
